In October of last year we had landscaping and dredging done of our pond and it really opened up the pond. However, by deepening it at both ends the water level dropped. The rainy season was supposed to refill it but we had a dry winter and beginning of spring until just recently when 10 inches of rain fell within the space of a week. Consequently, the pond is wonderfully full, so here are before and after pictures –

And one looking north with the grass planted on top of mud to reduce erosion that now can’t be mowed in the regular sense due to the bumpy terrain underneath. It is beautiful, though.
