My wife, Pat, in recent months not only joined the Chamber of Commerce but was asked and then joined the Board of Directors of the Chamber. One of the duties is to participate in the recognizing of new businesses opening, which I am happy to report is on the rise in Yazoo City. Just the other night she went to one in conjunction with the start of a Tuesday evenings downtown retail store late hours program.
The new store is a children’s clothing store right on Main Street. Pat presented a Chamber plaque to the store owner, a picture or which will be in the paper is here below:
