The Mystery of Where Are the Hummingbirds in Mississippi During May and June is Solved

While I must admit I was unaware of the circumstances behind this mystery, it was a relief to hear the solution to this situation.

It turns out that during the nesting season hummingbirds don’t travel more than a 1/4 mile from their nests for these two months.  If you have a feeder within that range you will see some birds but not until July do they return to their normal activity levels.
